This is a pretty awesome picture of a Narwhal. One of the few things I ever think of when I see water is how things are "cut" because of how the water refracts light. The lighting/shading looks really nice, and I'm jealous of your beach/background. I seem to be seeing that same circular formation of clouds, but it does, as usual, make the scene seem less flat with its perspective. Although that one mid-left cloud seems like there's a crescent opening in it, I think its just an illusion with a 2-d image trying to make depth, yet again. This place seems like one of those "Special spots" where few people know where it is, but that might be just because I'm used to seeing background characters, paths, huts or something on the beach. This would make a very nice background picture. :3 I just hope she doesn't lose her aviators in the water!
Wo-hoa, nice Can't say we've seen many narwhal girls, and this one's a real cutie ^___^ The beach, water, n' sky all look nice, it's such a lively and colorful pic that's just real pleasant to the eyes. Excellent work dood, well done
Very nicely executed picture of a Narwhal, i must say. There are very few artists out there who can do the task without something looking out of place... Also with the extra detail with the water and how her lower half is distorted not many people would even bother to pay attention to, along with palm trees is very unique. DO you use SAI painter or Photoshop for this?
EIther way I would love to have this as my desktop, if I lived by myself with my own computer! XD
