Even though I haven't seen any greatly made game arts of tf2 anf mlp the crossover ones I find weirdly. Yet I do like to see crossovers in not just gaming, but artwork as well. I always liked playing hs the Heavy in teamfortress 2 even though he was slow he made up for it in strength from taking beatings. I do like Pinkie Pie cause of her well joyful attitude and her random behavior. I don't know if these two are best together, but this looks pretty nicely detailed and pretty much a nice view of what it would be like have them together. Whats not to like which I can't say so I pretty much like it, well except the heavy is a little bit small and not weighted enough other then that I like.
This has been the most well done Team Fortress 2 crossover drawing I have ever seen. I've seen several, but none with Pinkie Pie and Heavy together.
The lines are very nice and clean. The coloring and shading are beautiful, especially in Pinkie's mane, tail, and hat. By using darker similar colors rather than just adding black, you manage to give her depth while still keeping her bright and colorful. The same can be said for Heavy.
The transition from dark places to highlights on the bodies is excellent overall. I really like how Pinkie's eyes twinkle. The shading gives me a good idea of how they would look if I were to form a three dimensional solid model.
The drawing makes me really want to touch Pinkie's mane and hat, and the cylinder on Heavy's minigun too (though I wouldn't dare).
The background is simple, but this is perfectly fine, because it doesn't need to be more detailed and it keeps the focus on the characters.
The only small problems with drawing is Heavy's expression. His stare looks a bit cold and the corners of his mouth feel like they should be a little higher up; the muscles on his face should also show more from smiling.
Is it sad that ever since i was a kid, and i discovered the internet the first thing i did was download pictures of art off of the internet, and today i have over 5,000 pictures that i have on my computer. Is that weird?
