Urban Sunset by Don-ko Urban Sunset by Don-ko
The second photo I captured on my new Nikon D3100 camera. I mean the second I'd like to upload :meow:

This is a part of Ekaterinburg city - complex of skyscrapers near the city's dumb and it's lake. However this buildings is abandoned for now. It's a good tradition of my city - to abandon big things. We even have abandoned 220 meters tall TV-tower!

Camera: Nikon D3100
PS - yet again not a pony pic in my gallery. But the next one will be about ponies, I promise :meow:

Looks like you captured just the right moment! Professional.

"Near the city's dumb"
Not sure if I got that, though.

"Ekaterinburg".

Now there's a mouthful. Not as bad as whatever the non-romanized spelling is, though. I googled it out of curiosity...

Is that seriously a "6" in the Russian spelling of the name? O.o

well, both Ekaterinburg and Yekaterinburg are correct. But I prefer the first one. After all De Genin was from Germany (he's one of founders) and besides... She was from Germany too. So I prefer to spell it in European manner.

And sorry, but I didn't understand you about a '6'

:iconcelestiashrugplz:Google claimed that it was spelled "Екатеринбу́рг".

Which, frankly, looks like gibberish to me. I am very much so an English-exclusive speaker.

The part that I was saying looked like a six was the "б" character. I don't know what it actually means, but it looks like a six to me.

It's the same sound as Engish 'b'. Б, б
